Shopping is a pleasure in the cosy town centre of Enschede, with every first and last Sunday being a shopping Sunday. A pleasant city for a day out! Besides the shopping Sundays, Enschede has a weekly market on the cosy Van Heekplein. This market is very popular and attracts over 60,000 visitors every Saturday. Every Tuesday and Saturday, the square is filled with enthusiastic merchants who sell their wares. From fresh produce to perfume, everything is for sale. There is also a theme market on the first Sunday of every month.

Enschede has an extensive and cosy centre, with the old market at its centre. Around this market are many terraces, where you can eat and drink in between shopping. Enschede also has a large shopping centre, so even when the weather is bad, you can shop in the dry. Thanks to the many shops, everyone succeeds in Enschede!
