In Enter, you’ll find the largest wooden shoe made from one single piece of wood! The Wooden Shoe Museum houses hundreds of handmade and machine-made clogs. Not only will you see how a clog is made, but you’ll also learn about the many different types of clogs that exist. The museum takes you back in time, showing you the old techniques of clog-making.

Zompenmuseum

Enter has its origins as a shipping village. Via the Regge River, flat-bottom boats, known as “zompen,” would sail. What did they carry? The “zompen” transported textiles, peat, stones, wood, and of course, clogs. The Zompenmuseum gives you more insight into the maritime history of Enter and its shipping past.

Enterse Zomp
